London Eye

I didn't know they had a ferris wheel in the middle of London. I went up. I don't know why it's called the London eye. Is it because you can see all around London? The way the wheel is shaped? Maybe they mean I as in ME. Well in any case if you're afraid of heights like me this is not the ride for you.

I made this sketch of big ben.

I don't really see much value of this big tower. With the invention of digital watches, cell phones, alarm clocks and the sun dial, it seems this rather large and pointy tower is, rather, out of the times.

I don't feel the young traveler should spend more than a few minutes getting a neck cramp to see this. The Old Ace Pub just down the street has some great John Smith beer.

Perry arrives

This is Perry. I'm now in London but I was mugged at the airport. Some crazy woman bumped into me and when I got to the customes I didn't have my ID. Luckily I had my student ID but I didn't think it was acceptable. Strange that they'd let me by so easily.
